Donald Patrick "Pat" Conroy (October 26, 1945 – March 4, 2016) was an American creator who composed a few acclaimed books and journals. Two of his books, The Prince of Tides and The Great Santini, were made into Oscar-assigned movies. He is perceived as a main figure generally twentieth century Southern writing.
